Mimic Features
Emulation
- Emulates mobile screen size.
- Emulates mobile font size.
Note: Mimic relies on your system's default monotype font to render pages so Mimic's font display may (probably will) differ slightly from the real thing. Mimic also doesn't emulate soft word breaking.
- Emulates mobile HTML tag display including the evil
<blink> tag.
- Sends mobile user agent for all page and image requests:
- N400i:
portalmmm/2.0 N400i(c20;TB)
- N505i:
DoCoMo/1.0/N505i/c20/TB/W20H10
- Includes the terminal ID with accepted
utn requests:
- N505i:
DoCoMo/1.0/N505i/c20/TB/W20H10/serMIMIC000001
Note: Currently only Japanese i-mode mobiles support terminal ID requests with the utn attribute.
- Renders European and Japanese emoji.
Note: Mimic uses the brightness of the page background colour to determine whether to render emoji with either a black or white emoji image. Mimic ignores any font colour applied to emoji.
