Mobile Synchronisation

iSync with KeitaiSync Plus
Synchronising a mobile in Japan has never been easy: Bluetooth capable mobiles are almost nonexistent in Japan and I know of no mobile here with SyncML support. Fortunately Reudo have recently updated the OS X version of KeitaiSync Plus to include support for Docomo's FOMA (3G) mobiles.
KeitaiSync Plus for FOMA mobiles comes with a FOMA to USB cable, phone book, photo album and the all important iSync conduit. Although all documentation and applications are in Japanese, the conduit includes both English and Japanese localisations and is all you need to synchronise with iSync.
Once installed, adding my P900i to iSync and synchronising this with Address Book and iCal was an easy process. I did have some problems getting all my Address Book addresses onto my mobile but once I limited synchronisation to addresses I actually needed on my mobile, everything went smoothly.
