Moving back to a Japanese mobile

My shinny red 911T
I'm not racking up the international travel nearly as much as I used to so have recently moved from my SIM free Nokia E61 to a shinny red Softbank 911T.
The biggest adjustment has been dealing with how much Japanese mobiles suck at PIM synchronization and whereas my Mac and E61 were a great couple who synced together on a regular basis, the 911T is an estranged partner with very little to share. Fortunately the One Seg digital TV, S! GPS Navi, S! FeliCa, 3.24 megapixel camera, QR code reader and 480 x 800 pixel screen make up the 911Ts synchronization shortcomings.
