Osaka: home of the Ultraman/International Rescue

When I was a wee lad I'd build all sorts of fantastic Thunderbirds-inspired Lego creations. In Osaka it seems a similar wee lad became an architect when they grew up although I think this recent addition to Osaka's cityscape was probably inspired by Ultraman.

I'm looking forward to discovering what the red rigging is for: Science Patrol Jet VTOL launcher perhaps?
